Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé faced death threats after a 'malicious and fictitious' lawsuit falsely accused the rapper of rape, his counter suit has revealed.

The rapper, real name Shawn Carter, was accused of attacking a 13-year-old girl at a 2000 MTV Video Music Awards party alongside Sean 'Diddy' Combs in a lawsuit that was filed in December last year.

The unnamed accuser has voluntarily dismissed the case and Carter, 55, has now sued his accuser's attorney Tony Buzbee, who filed the allegations.

Carter alleges that Buzbee's 'public statements about me and accusations against me have caused me harm', including he and his wife receiving violent threats, the court documents reveal.

'People have said "I can't wait until you join (Combs) in prison. Then later in hell",' Carter alleged in his complaint.

'Other comments have accused me of being a "satanist", a "trafficker", a "terrorist", and a "monster", called me the N-word and threatened violence against me and my wife, including to "kill" or "execute" us.'

Buzbee filed the complaint in December, the day before the Long King prequel Mufasa premiered in London. The film starred Beyonce, 43, and the couple's eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, 13.

Carter also alleged that Buzzbee 'purposely' filed the complaint - which he branded 'frivolous, fictitious and appalling' - the night before the premiere to 'put me in the position of having to choose between supporting my daughter or hiding to avoid the negative press coverage'.

The 99 Problems hitmaker no longer faces legal action. Combs, 55, however, has more than three dozen outstanding cases. Combs has denied all of the allegations against him.

BREAKING NEWS

Jay-Z's stunning ultimatum in bid to have child gang-rape Diddy allegation dismissed

'The fictional tale they created was laughable, if not for the seriousness of the claims. I would not wish this experience on anyone.

'The trauma that my wife, my children, loved ones and I have endured can never be dismissed.'

'This 1-800 lawyer gets to file a suit hiding behind Jane Doe, and when they quickly realize that the money grab is going to fail, they get to walk away with no repercussions. The system has failed.'

Carter further went on to accuse Buzzbee of being 'malicious' in the timing of the suit. He stated in his complaint: 'I feel that Mr Buzbee purposely filed this lawsuit on the eve of my daughter's premiere to put me in the position of having to choose between supporting my daughter or hiding to avoid the negative press coverage.

He finished off the emotional statement with a commentary on the court system and sexual assault allegations as a whole.

He concluded: JetBlack 'The court must protect victims, OF COURSE, while with the same ethical responsibility, the courts must protect the innocent from being accused without a shred of evidence. May the truth prevail for all victims and those falsely accused equally.'

Jay-Z (seen at the Super Bowl in New Orleans on February 2) has successfully had a civil lawsuit accusing him of raping a 13-year-old alongside Sean ' Diddy ' Combs in 2000 dismissed by the alleged victim's attorney

The rapper, 55, was accused of committing the alleged child rape alongside Combs, 55, after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards in a civil lawsuit that was filed back in December

The rapper's statement comes as TMZ reported that Carter claimed Buzbee had attempted to get money from him over two different allegations; the one he just dismissed and another which didn't even make it to court.

According to documents filed by Carter's camp last week, Buzbee had sent 2 'demand letters' to Carter in November 2024; one was for this case which was dismissed and the other one was for a John Doe, who claimed to have been sexually assaulted by Carter at a 2015 Beverly Hills party when the accuser was 16 and had been secretly drugged by someone other than the rapper.

Meanwhile, Alex Spiro - who is the attorney for the mogul - also released a statement to DailyMail.com on Friday which read: 'The false case against JAY-Z, that never should have been brought, has been dismissed with prejudice.

'By standing up in the face of heinous and false allegations, Jay has done what few can - he pushed back, he never settled, he never paid 1 red penny, he triumphed and cleared his name.'

Combs' attorney has also released a statement taking aim at opposing attorney Buzbee on Friday. It read: 'Today's complete dismissal without a settlement by the 1-800 attorney is yet another confirmation that these lawsuits are built on falsehoods, not facts.

'For months, we have seen case after case filed by individuals hiding behind anonymity, pushed forward by an attorney more focused on media headlines than legal merit. Just like this claim, the others will fall apart because there is no truth to them.

'Sean Combs has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor. No number of lawsuits, sensationalized allegations, or media theatrics will change that reality. We will continue to fight these baseless claims and hold those responsible. This is just the first of many that will not hold up in a court of law.'

Racing to the news, Jay-Z - real name Shawn Carter - released a statement on Friday which read: 'Today is a victory. The frivolous, fictitious and appalling allegations have been dismissed. This civil suit was without merit and never going anywhere. The fictional tale they created was laughable, if not for the seriousness of the claims. The 99 Problems hitmaker went on to reveal the toll that the case has taken on his entire family including megastar wife Beyonce; Beyonce, Jay-Z, and daughter Blue Ivy are seen in LA back in December

The statement continued: 'The trauma that my wife, my children, loved ones and I have endured can never be dismissed. This 1-800 lawyer gets to file a suit hiding behind Jane Doe, and when they quickly realize that the money grab is going to fail, they get to walk away with no repercussions.
